Michael joined Downs in 2017 as an Administration Assistant and became Facilities Manager in 2023. In his current role, he focuses on maintaining a safe, functional, and efficient workspace, ensuring that everything behind the scenes operates smoothly. He also manages the Business Support Team, working closely with them to provide centralised administrative support to Downs' teams.

With a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills, Michael has led several key initiatives, including a major office refurbishment and a project to bring all teams together into a single, cohesive workspace at the Dorking office. His goal is to create an environment where everyone feels supported and can focus on their work without concerns about operational details.

Michael is a proud father of two young children who keep him on his toes. He enjoys starting his day with an early morning workout (before the kids are up!) to feel energised. And something not many people know about him—though it’s not much of a secret anymore—is that he enjoys crocheting, which he finds to be a relaxing way to unwind after a busy day.
