Katie qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and spent the first 15 years of her career working along the south coast. Having joined Downs in 2023 Katie helps run the busy private client department.
Katie specialises in Wills, LPAs, probate, estate administration, inheritance tax planning and elderly client work.
Katie is naturally good with people and excels at explaining complex legal terms in plain English.
Outside of work, Katie is kept buy with her young family . She is an active member of her local church where she serves as a trustee, is actively involved in the school community and is part of a local WI. She enjoys baking with her children and taking the family dog for walks.
