Helen is an employment specialist. She deals with the full range of employment law matters including business restructuring and reorganisation (including TUPE insourcing and outsourcing) and employment relations (including discrimination issues). She advises substantial corporate clients, SMEs and owner managed businesses and enjoys working closely with clients as an extension to the in-house team.
Helen advises on all aspects of employment work from recruitment to termination and post termination issues including restraint of trade/ non-compete and confidentiality. She advises on managing change in the workplace including restructuring, reorganisation and redundancy programmes. She also advises on shareholder disputes involving director/ shareholders.
Helen advises senior executives on hire and fire scenarios which gives her a broader understanding of the dynamics of the employment relationship. She inspires great trust in her individual clients building both a real understanding of their priorities and strong personal relationships.
With a Litigation/ Disputes background, she aims to resolve disputes without recourse to legal proceedings and to equip her clients with the tools they need to manage and minimise employment risks.
