Dec 2017
Diane Sumpter from our Dorking-based private client team once again took part in this year's Make a Will Fortnight on behalf of St Catherine's Hospice in Crawley.
During Make a Will Fortnight local solicitors agree to waive their normal Will writing fee for the preparation of a basic or standard Will or reviewing an existing Will and in return a donation is made to the Hospice. This year the scheme raised £20,575, with Diane raising £1330. All money raised goes towards helping support and care for people affected by a serious progressive illness, such as cancer, heart, lung or neurological disease who live in West Sussex and East Surrey.
We cannot stress enough the importance of having a valid Will. If you have an existing Will it is important that it is regularly reviewed and updated to reflect your current personal circumstances.
Please contact a member of our Private Client Department for further advice regarding making a Will or reviewing an existing Will.
