We are pleased to announce the arrival of Roger Pierce, who joins our Commercial Property Department in Godalming, Surrey.
Roger was born and brought up in Guildford and was formerly a partner with a well-known London law firm. He specialises in landlord and tenant work, development and investment and secured lending. He has particular experience in dealing with corporate occupiers and telecoms and hotel / restaurant – related transactions. He has acted for institutional banks, charitable bodies and schools, and pension funds, as well as corporate and private landlords and tenants.
Roger joins a 16 strong property group headed by partner, Mike Debens. Mike said: "Roger brings a wealth of experience and expertise with him, which will be of great value to us and to our clients. He is highly regarded for his work by property professionals in the region and his appointment makes our commercial property team one of the largest in the area."
Talking of his appointment, Roger said “I am delighted to be joining such a prominent local firm and to be working with such an experienced and well-respected property team. I am looking forward to contributing to the development and growth of the firm’s Godalming office which has expanded considerably in recent years.“
He will continue to act for and advise his many existing business and personal clients.
Roger has links with many local institutions and organisations and was, until the recent merger with University of Surrey, a Governor of The Guildford School of Acting.
