Organisations that have not yet published their gender pay gap information by the deadline next week could face unlimited fines.
Private employers with 250+ workers must submit their gender pay gap figures to the Government Equalities Office by 4 April. For public sector employers, the deadline is on Good Friday.
It is thought that approximately 9000 companies fall into the category but according to the Government's database of company data, only 4351 (fewer than half) have submitted the required information.
